Preparation

I forgot one important thing
PREPARATION!

The walls need to be prepared before they can be painted.
The nails need to be taken out, the outlet plates and switch plates need to be removed, the walls washed, the holes filled and then sanded, the taping of the baseboards and trim.
THEN you are ready to paint.

What I don't realize is the behind the scenes duties that must be done before the fun part. I am in that process now, I have washed the walls, and the baseboards, bought the plaster and putty knives, and because I work at night, I have to wait until tomorrow to start the "prep".

I cannot believe I didn't think this over before buying the paint. Live and learn right?

And look at what I found when I was taking the mirror off the wall.... I think it's part of an old intercom system.

What would you do with this jumbled mess of wires?
